Timeline & Delivery

Order TIMELINE for Flower Orders: 

In order to provide you the freshest and best quality product, it would be requested that you order at least 24 hours before the required date.  

Sydney Flower Shop orders stock from growers for pick up each morning but that is for all orders today for delivery tomorrow.  

Order TIMELINE for Gifts (All Varieties):

A minimum 24 hours before required delivery date.

Regular Delivery:

Free Delivery to all Sydney Suburbs.

The order cut-off time for next day delivery is 5.00pm on the day prior to delivery.  If you place your order after 5.00pm, we cannot guarantee delivery will occur on the next day.

Same Day Delivery:

On occasions we can accommodate same day delivery, however this is dependent on the time we receive your order and the amount of flower stock we have available after all orders for the day are fulfilled, therefore, it would be advisable that you contact us to confirm prior to placing an order.

When We Deliver:

Delivery times will depend on delivery location.  As a general guide:

- Monday to Friday: 12.00 pm – 5.00 pm (6.00 pm for residential addresses)

- Saturday: no deliveries (unless arranged with Us)

- Sunday: no deliveries (other than on Valentine’s Day and Mothers’ Day)

- We don't delivery on public holidays excluding Valentine's Day/Mother's Day

Sometimes there are delays beyond our control.  Flat tyres, traffic jams or bad weather can cause delays.  If you request a specific time of delivery, we will do our best to accommodate your request however it cannot be guaranteed.

Delivery instructions:

Our couriers do not call prior to delivery.  Please ensure the recipient is home to receive items.

Where the intended recipient is not at the delivery address, our couriers will leave the item in accordance with your instructions or otherwise in a secure location if no one is available at the delivery address.

If a secure location is not available, our couriers will leave a note advising the recipient to contact Us to arrange for re-delivery. We may charge you $12.95 for the cost of re-delivery, but will seek your authority prior to charging this fee to you. 

If you provide us with an incorrect delivery address, you must pay $12.95 for re-delivery of your order to the correct address. We may also charge you for the cost of new flowers if we need to replace the original flowers.

When ordering liquor, someone of the age of 18 must accept the delivery and if there is any doubt regarding age, then a valid photo identification must be produced.

High volume days:

The cut off and delivery time parameters do not apply to busy floral events including (but not limited to) Mothers’ Day, Valentine's Day and Christmas Day. Please check our website for expected delivery times on those days and make sure to place orders in advance to ensure timely delivery.
